Requirements are as follows:
- A student currently enrolled in a science or engineering degree program
- Minimally, sophomore class standing
- Availability for 20 hours/week, worked between 8am-5pm, M-F
- A demonstrated willingness to learn new skills
- Self directed but will seek help or clarification when necessary
Job Duties will include:
- Glassware cleaning
- Sample and chemical check-in
- GMP Reports and assisting with maintaining documentation of lab equipment, after previously mentioned duties have been mastered
- Other tasks and duties to support laboratory operations, to include the possibility of basic analytical work within the lab
The student can expect to gain the following through this internship:
- Understanding of how science concepts and principles learned in an academic setting are applicable to industry
- Firsthand experience with a quality assurance system in support of FDA compliant laboratory work
- Experience working in a professional business setting
