Process Engineer, Claremont Cable Plant

HR has approved two more openings for manufacturing engineers.  We are really looking for an engineer with industrial experience, but we will also consider a new graduate with good credentials.
VT is a target school for new hires.  The new hires will be part of an exciting new program in the company called “Make It”.   I have already sent information on our graduate trainee program which involves extensive international assignment, but this new program offers another option where the new engineer is based out of the US and travels for two weeks every year internationally for training at locations such as Milan, Turkey, Brazil, Australia, etc. During these training sessions abroad, the engineers will meet and interact with other young engineers at our manufacturing centers of excellence.  From the participants I’ve heard from, it is another excellent program.

You guys can spread the word in the MSE department.  I’ll also go to the campus recruiting office with these postings.  It is refreshing to see the increased interest within the company to attract talented young engineers.
