Positions:
The first is a Chemical Engineering position that would be geared towards a MSE graduating student with a strong focus in chemistry and someone who thoroughly enjoyed Thermodynamics of Materials and other chemistry related engineerings along with materials science. They will predominantly focus on Plating Sciences in the workplace and eventually become a plating engineer. (The position is relatively uncommon in the US but after learning much about it, it is an unbelievably interesting field filled with many challenges and very impressive sciences and results)

The second is a Manufacturing Engineering position that would be geared towards a student who prefers to incorporate science and engineering with logistics and process/product flow optimization. Eventually, they will become a full manufacturing engineer in Southbridge and will be tasked with solving engineering problems on the fly related to in-process and production inconsistencies/problems.

Some side notes:
These positions are really geared to help one learn efficiently and quickly. The amount of one-on-one training and hands on problem solving is immense but not overbearing. I have learned an incredible amount whether it relates to my job field or not.
The plant in Southbridge, MA is about an hour from Boston and about 2 hours from NYC. It has tremendous potential as it is a fairly new plant. The idea behind these trainings and positions is to help create a booming production base for electronic packagings out of the US.
