Army Science and Technology Futures Game 5-9 October 2015

Help us envision the future of the U.S. Army!

From 5-9 October 2015, we invite you to join fellow thought leaders in a web-based game exploring how advances in science and technology might transform the nature of the U.S. Army and the world it will operate in over the next 20 years.

Sponsored by Ms. Mary Miller, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Research and Technology, this game will challenge thought leaders from across the Department of Defense, leading academics, technology innovators, military experts, and creative visionaries to work together building ideas about technologies that could revolutionize Army capabilities, or present new challenges we might have to overcome. We are looking for fresh, provocative ideas that will challenge conventional wisdom. Your thoughts and ideas will help Army leaders plan for the future and shape over $2 billion per year in research and development investments. You know, simple stuff.

This email serves as a “save the date” announcement. On the 5th you will receive an invitation with information on how to register for the game and play. In the meantime, you can visit the Army S&T Futures portal at http://futures.armyscitech.com/* to learn more about this game, see the top ideas that came out of previous games, and join the conversation about how technology is shaping the future of Army operations.

Thank you, we hope to see you in-game! Feel free to share this email with colleagues who might be interested in playing.
