2nd Annual Torgersen Leadership Summit

The Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) at Virginia Tech will be having its 2nd
Annual Torgersen Leadership Summit next February and would like to know your potential
interest in participating in this event.

This event seeks to bring together 150 current and aspiring student leaders from across Virginia
Tech’s campus for an engaging best-in-class leadership immersion experience. The day will
consist of various workshops held by company representatives and guest speakers in which
students will have the opportunity to learn from and network with. The event will conclude with a
reception where students and representatives can network over light refreshments.

IISE would like to know your company's potential interest in attend hosting a 45 minute
interactive leadership workshop with our students. These workshops focus on a key aspect of
leadership and can consist of anything from an engaging speaker in industry to an interactive
game! Although the focus of the session is leadership in the workplace, this interaction with
students will be a beneficial networking time for your company to interact with some of our
highly motivated engineering students.
