Position: Foundry Process Engineer

Reports to: Metallurgist

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Determine and implement continuous improvement activities for Foundry processes and systems.
• Evaluate and document results from continuous improvement activities for Foundry processes.
• Collect, evaluate, and report data regarding Foundry quality.
• Supervise Foundry lab and personnel.
• Manage new casting projects in the Foundry.
• Perform first article inspections and determine process parameters for new castings.
• Create and maintain work instructions for Foundry processes.
• Measure and certify mechanical and metallurgical data of castings.
• Necessary Skills and Qualifications: B.S. degree in Materials or Metallurgical Engineering,
• 3D modeling, solidification modeling, Microsoft Office. Team oriented, ethical, trustworthy. Experience level can be discussed. Immediate opening.
